Regional Sales Executive
Location: Hybrid (ideally based in the North of the UK – Leeds, Manchester, York – your home base, our adventure playground!)
Reporting to: Functional and Hierarchical Manager
Purpose of the role
We are on the hunt for a brilliant sales professional ready to build fantastic direct relationships with key and potential clients across Europe and far beyond. You will team up closely with our proposal teams, becoming the warm friendly knowledgeable face of Halifax Fan Group – turning every exciting opportunity into solutions.

- Lead the rollout of our sales process, practices and guidelines across the whole team.

What we need from you
- An engineering or technical degree is a big plus.
- Over five years of hands on operational or technical sales experience specifically in the industrial fan sector is ideal.
- Brilliant cross functional skills – you thrive when working hand in hand with different teams.
- Happy and confident with up to fifty percent travel to meet clients, spark new relationships and explore those exciting opportunities.
- Love using LinkedIn and digital tools to spot opportunities and make them happen.

Field Service and Test Engineer
Halifax Fan, a global leader in industrial fan technology, is seeking a top-notch Field Service and Test Engineer to join our growing team in the USA!
In this exciting role, you’ll play a pivotal role in:
- Supporting the rapid expansion of Halifax Fan in North America: Be part of a dynamic team, ensuring our cutting-edge industrial fans are flawlessly installed and operating at peak efficiency for customers across the USA and Canada.
- Providing exceptional field service: Travel to customer sites to perform installation support, troubleshooting, and performance testing for a diverse range of industrial fan applications.
- Collaborating with a winning team: Work alongside our talented engineers and technicians, leveraging our global expertise and industry-leading tools.

To qualify, you’ll ideally possess:
- A strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Experience in field service or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- A passion for industrial ventilation and a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel occasionally.
Signing on bonus (£2,000)
A new employee (from 5 May 2023) will be immediately paid a £500 bonus. After 3 months continuous service with Halifax Fan, with no unauthorized absences, a further bonus of £500 will be paid.
After a further 3 months service, again with no unauthorized absences (6 months in total) they will receive a further £1,000 bonus.
The bonus will be paid via payroll on the appropriate week/month.

Halifax Fan are recruiting in the UK, USA and Asia (China).
In the UK, we are looking for temporary and permanent Fitters, Fabricators, Laser Operators ideally with rotating assembly experience. We are also looking for Engineers/Draughtspeople and a Parts Nesting Programmer (for laser).
In China, we are looking to grow our Sales and Engineering Teams with experienced staff.

Apprenticeships
We have a long tradition of taking school leavers through college and into our in house apprentice scheme.
We work with local colleges to find bright, young engineers who go through a four year apprenticeship; partly full time at college and day release to gain a minimum of a City and Guilds level 3 and NVQ level 3 in an engineering competence. Our trainee engineers work through all our departments to gain a great general knowledge of the company whilst working alongside our experienced engineers. Some of our apprentices are encouraged to continue their fully funded education through to university to gain a technician qualification i.e. HNE/HND, Beng. Our longest serving original apprentice has been with the company for 34 years.
Our business is dynamic, varied with strong but controlled growth and we are often recruiting people in various roles and positions.
