Part of the contract for a leading German Chemical giant was to carry out noise testing on the fans we designed and manufactured for them, this test was performed with the aid of window removal at our facility in Nantong, China.
The fan was a 190cm high pressure unit and was tested for noise in accordance with EN ISO 3744:2010 and microphone positions used in conformance with ISO 11202:2010.
This project consisted of over 20 fans, and 8 fan types, all were run, performance and noise tested with witness approval by the customer.
Industrial noise regulations are a big issue in China and compliance with the limits are vital to ensure our end customers and ourselves are not liable for exceeding the limits.
Happy to say we passed the tests, we are now adapting part of our facility to carry out more noise testing in the future.
