Remote testing

As standard practice, we conduct mechanical tests on all our fans in-house whenever possible. 

Our testing facility is equipped with several variable speed drives and features a remote monitoring station on the outside of the main test bay. Currently, our new trainees, Shridhar and Harvey, are are learning the ropes from Rajeev, our Chief Test Engineer and Wayne, our Aftermarket Manager.

The specific fan being tested is a 45KW DIDW fan with a 1.2M diameter impeller. To ensure ease of transportation, the fan, along with its subframe, has been designed in sections that can be dismantled and easily fit through a standard single service door.
