A day with Charles Hong – Sales road trip in China

It is 2012 – Charles Hong, a young and handsome graduate from an engineering university joins Halifax Fan team in China. A budding FAN:gineer, he starts his work with engineering proposals, working his way into understanding customers, applications, markets, and eventually leading the Shenzhen sales team. His ambitions are a match to the Chinese high speed railway system! 

Fast forward to 2025, Charles, now a seasoned Sales Manger, with Jun, one of our amazing service engineers, take a trip to witness commissioning of our fans in a oven application at a brand new site. They board the high speed train, that didn’t exist 10 years ago, and make a return trip covering over 800Km in one day.

Faced with demanding requests from the customers to deliver solutions for high temperature, perfect sealing and perfectly balanced equipment to eliminate any vibration, the Halifax Fan team designed the fan to match the customers specifications.
