High-Pressure Twin-Stage Fans with ATEX-Rated Motors and Gas-Tight Seals

Two twin stage (two impellers) high pressure fans designed and built in the UK. These fans are for a local OEM and intended for an end user in Holland.

Manufactured in stainless 316L. Driven at speeds upto 3600RPM by an ATEX motor. The ATEX rating is 3G internal and 2G external.

A carbon ring seal complete with nitrogen purge is part of the fan. Due to the requirement for the fan to be gas tight, it was hydrostatically tested to 1.5 x design pressure. The fan was then performance tested in accordance with EN ISO5801.
