In Brighouse this week, one of our longest serving FAN:gineers, Mick Beaumont – a proper Yorkshire lad through and through – hung up his torch after an incredible 39 years with Halifax Fan.
We would like to give him a massive thank you for all the sparks he has generated and the high skilled work he welded into our success. It will be a right challenge finding someone to match that expertise.
That said, when it comes to scoffing more than his fair share of cake (and lets be honest, Mick, you could out eat the champion pork pie eating whippet), we will be glad there will be more cake for the rest of us.
Cheers again Mick, and here’s to a long, happy retirement.
