Bifurcated axial fans
Our bifurcated axial fan range offers the ability to handle handle steam, fumes or gases which would normally be harmful to the motor.
Our bifurcated axial fans
Our small bifurcated fan is a direct driven axial flow fan, with the motor remote from the air stream.
The object of this design is to enable the fan to handle steam, fumes or gases which would normally be harmful to the motor.
- Motor remote from the air stream
- Good operating efficiency.
- Low noise emissions.
Bifurcated axial fan variants
- Normal Temp
- High temp
- Galvanised Mild steel
- Stainless Steel
- And now available as ATEX category 2 or 3
Casing
The standard stock casings are fabricated from mild steel plate and hot dipped galvanised after manufacture. Stainless steel casings for more specialised applications are also available. The inlet and outlet are fitted with circular drilled flanges.
Impeller
The Bifurcated fan impeller is made up of a number of blades attached to a centre boss or from a single casting whilst often impellers for more specialised applications are fabricated from other materials, suitable for specific environments.
Motor
Motors suitable for all major electrical supplies are available. ATEX motors available for most fan sizes.
Temperature
Standard Halifax Bifurcated fans operate up to 105°C, for temperatures up to 205°C the motor compartment is lined with heat resistant material. Fans operating outside these conditions are considered on an individual basis.
