USA: Boiler Expo 2026 and Biomass Conference

Halifax Fan Group has strong global expertise, having successfully supplied fans into many different geographical markets and worked through a wide range of cultural and commercial challenges. This international knowledge often allows us to help customers minimise the impact of tariffs and other trade barriers.

This week, our Global Sales Director, Krista, and our USA Sales Manager, Drew both based in the USA attended two key industry events: the Boiler Expo 2026 and the International Biomass Conference and Expo.

Both the boiler and biomass industries are truly global markets for Halifax Fan. We design and manufacture high efficiency fans capable of handling temperatures up to 1300°F (700°C) and virtually any corrosive gas. 

This technical capability enables us to support almost every application in these sectors.

Our global experience in the biomass market is particularly valuable. We have worked extensively with challenging fuels such as rice husks and palm kernel shells in Southeast Asia, sugarcane bagasse in Brazil, and wood pellets in the USA. This handson knowledge helps us address the highly abrasive nature of these materials, as well as the other operational challenges commonly found in biomass applications.
