To Infinity and Beyond!

Halifax Fan UK has been working on an aerospace project to supply a Flare System Assist Air fan for a spaceport in Andøya, Norway.

Our 21” Chinook fan is required to meet the smokeless burning of the flare gas at set flow rates discharged into the flare riser.

The fan is designed according to ATEX Zone 2 II 3 G Ex e IIB T3 Gb and is manufactured from a combination of high-strength carbon steel and 316L stainless steel, with painted parts to meet C5 and NORSOK M-501 Rev. 6 corrosivity categories.
