Twin-Purge Fans: Superior Performance in Challenging Environments

Good things come in pairs.

These twin-purge fans were manufactured in our UK facility in Yorkshire and are destined for Mozambique, SA. They are ATEX certified to Zone 2 3G IIA T3 (200°C) Internal & Zone 2 3G IIA T3 (200°C) External and manufactured entirely from stainless steel 316L – including the drive shaft and machined bearing unit.

The small but mighty 8-pole motor is rather special, too, with an increased painting specification to C5/CX, IP66-rated enclosure, 100% internal tropicalization and Class H insulation.

Both fans endured an extended 4-hour mechanical run test and a customer witnessed aerodynamic performance test according to strict project requirements. They passed with flying colours!
